My camera does not send pictures with NG-SIM®, what could be the reason?

If your Cloud Camera with NG-SIM® is not sending images, try this:

  1. Check the battery: Ensure that the camera's battery has enough charge or is not completely discharged. If it is low on charge, connect it to a power source and let it charge before proceeding.
  2. Verify subscription status: Make sure your subscription for the Cloud Camera service is active and up to date. If your subscription has expired, renew it to ensure uninterrupted service.
  3. Check data limit: Confirm that you have not exceeded your data limit. If you have reached the limit, the camera will stop sending images. Contact your service provider to either increase your data limit or consider upgrading your plan.
  4. Inspect the external battery cable: Examine the cable connecting the camera to the external battery. Look for any visible cable breaks, damages, or loose connections. If you find any issues, try replacing the cable with a new one.
  5. Check SD card status: Ensure that the SD card inserted in the camera is not full. If you have disabled SD cycling, the camera will stop sending images when the SD card reaches its storage capacity. If the card is full, either delete some files from it or replace it with an empty SD card.
  6. Restart the camera: Sometimes, a simple restart can resolve minor issues. Turn off the camera, wait for a few seconds, and then turn it back on. Allow the camera to initialize and establish a connection.

If your third-party camera with NG-SIM® is not sending images, try this: 

Verify that your subscription is active.

  1. Ensure that the SMTP/FTP settings in the camera are correct and free of typos.
  2. Confirm that the APN is entered correctly, without any errors.
  3. Verify that the Camera email (applicable only for SMTP) is entered correctly, without any errors.
  4. Check that the camera settings are configured correctly, such as SMS control (OFF), Send mode (Instant), etc.

By following these steps, you can systematically identify and resolve common issues that may be preventing your Camera from sending images.
