What does "shutter speed" mean in the Cloud Camera® settings?

Claes Updated by Claes

In your Cloud Camera's “shutter speed” settings, you have the option to choose between 1/15, 1/20, and 1/30 for your photos. Shutter speed refers to the length of time the camera’s shutter is open, allowing light to reach the camera sensor. It’s essentially how long your camera spends taking a photo.

Shutter speed options:

1/15 – A shutter speed of 1/15 sec. (Provides high brightness for night shooting, but can result in a large smear of moving objects.)

1/20 – A shutter speed of 1/20 sec. (Offers standard brightness and smear of moving objects for night shooting.)

1/30 – A shutter speed of 1/30 sec. (Provides moderate image brightness at night and a small smear of moving objects.)
