User Guide for NG-SIM with Third-Party Cameras

NOTE!!! This manual is intended to help you use your NG-SIM with cameras other than the Nordic Gamekeeper Cloud Camera.

Step 1: Ensure that your camera is unlocked

In order to use NG SIM with your camera, you must be able to configure the following settings in your camera:

  • FTP/SMTP
  • APN

If your camera does not allow you to change these settings, unfortunately, your camera is locked and is not compatible with NG-SIM.

Step 2: Find NG-SIM settings

To find the settings for your third-party camera with NG-SIM, you can either use the Nordic Gamekeeper app or the Nordic Gamekeeper website.

Via the Nordic Gamekeeper app:

  1. Open the Nordic Gamekeeper app.
  2. Log in to your Nordic Gamekeeper account.
  3. Select your NG-SIM® device.
  4. Click on "Settings."

Via the Nordic Gamekeeper website:

  1. Open the Nordic Gamekeeper website in your browser: account.nordicgamekeeper.com.
  2. Log in with your username and password from the NG app.
  3. Click on "Devices."
  4. Select your NG-SIM® device.
  5. Click on "Settings."
  6. From here, you can access and configure the settings for your third-party camera with NG-SIM.

Step 3: Choose FTP or SMTP

We recommend that you use FTP settings if your camera supports it. If your camera does not support FTP, use SMTP + camera email.

Step 4: Enter the settings in the camera

Each camera model has different methods to change settings. If you have difficulty finding where to enter the settings, we refer you to the camera manufacturer's manual or support page.

Important! Make sure to fill in the details exactly as they appear in the Nordic Gamekeeper app. Fill in uppercase/lowercase letters, numbers, and characters, just as they appear in the app.

Step 5: Fill in APN and FTP/SMTP

The settings you need to fill in for your third-party camera with NG-SIM®:

  • Fill in APN settings.

  • Fill in FTP settings. If the camera does not support FTP, use SMTP + camera email.

  • Fill in SMTP settings. (Only if the camera does not support FTP)

  • Turn off SSL, SMS control, MMS, and other settings that you will not use.

Please be aware that the location of these settings may vary depending on the specific camera model. If you encounter difficulties in locating where to enter these settings, kindly consult the camera manufacturer's manual or support page for guidance.
